“ Very friendly staff, open area for the kids and dogs to play - both on-leash area and off-leash area depending on the friendliness of the dogs. The meals here are great, and there is also separate menu for the dogs, where all dog meals are made using dog friendly ingredients. ”
“ So, finding this place wasn't the easiest as it's a little bit hidden and literally "off the beaten track"! But follow the signs to Ark Animal Centre, ignore the little informal settlement, and don't panic if you find yourself on a dirt road, and you'll get there! Originally, a few moms and I decided to try it out as a place to take our toddlers (all 18 months old) and when I arrived, I'll admit I was initially disappointed as it didn't look like there was that much for young kids to do. But I'm thrilled to report they all LOVED IT! The area is enclosed and safe and they ran around and explored to their hearts content! But the best part about the place, was the staff! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after and they were so friendly! Satyere (I think that's how you spell his name) is an absolute gem and he took great care of us! And the toasted sarmies and chips we had were delicious! So, despite my initial impression when I arrived, Heart Of Suburbia gets a big thumbs up from me and will definitely be a place I visit again! (Perhaps next time I'll take my dogs with too!) ”
